The Region V STEM Center in Lake Charles, Louisiana, quickly established itself as a hub for dynamic STEM education since opening in 2020. Located at Lake Charles Boston Academy, the center goes beyond teaching science, technology, engineering, and math. It inspires students, empowers educators, and strengthens the regional workforce pipeline.

One of the most powerful outcomes of the Inventionland Education Innovation Science Class is seeing the young student inventors win at the national level and then earn actual licensing agreements. Over the past two years, that vision has become reality for multiple student teams who identified everyday problems and engineered smart, market-ready solutions.

The start of a new school year in Calumet City, IL, brought with it something really special: the unveiling of Lincoln Elementary School District 156’s brand-new Innovation Center. This reimagined space, designed in partnership with Inventionland Education, was officially introduced to the community during a back-to-school evening that featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony and back-to-school night. Students, parents, teachers, and community members were invited to explore the dynamic learning environment, and the excitement in the air was undeniable.
